Arrivals.. There goes the neighborhood.

Everyone knows that people don't always live in the same place forever with the same neighbors. At least once in a persons life they move into a different neighborhood. Whether it be at a young age, or at an old age.  When people move into a new area they are timid and don't know what to expect. Especially the new kids on the block.

When children move into a new area they have to adapt to their surroundings and might also have transfer to there neighborhood school. The arrival of the kids to these new schools might be scary considering that they don't know anyone and they don't know how to react among the others. These so called "new" kids might be shy at first and rarely speak. Their social levels might not be high, but within time they slowly start to feel comfortable. They get used to everyone and they start to show their true colors.

The whole process of moving into a new neighborhood is a scary thought at first because the new arrivals are surrounded by unknown people. Many people don't know whether they might be stuck with obnoxious neighbors or whether their transition was a success. As time progresses though, they come to find the neighborhood either good or bad. It's all a matter of getting used to the new neighborhood and having a positive outlook.

  1. I agree with you: moving, for children, can actually be a really tough situation. The way you described this makes me curious; have you moved a couple of times in your life as well? And if so, did you feel like how you described?
